The dreaded Sarlaac, a terrifying semi-sentient, ravenous, betentacled, plant-like creature, found on several planets across the (Star Wars) galaxy.
“In its belly, you will find a new definition of pain and suffering as you are slowly digested over a…thousand years.”
That is, unless you’re Boba Fett, who managed to escape and proclaimed himself “somewhat indigestible” or if the Sarlaac is actually a mouthwatering cake, in which case you’ll be the one doing the devouring.
This awesome Star Wars Sarlacc Bundt Cake was beautifully made by Kathleen of Yummy Crumble. It’s a buttery caramel bundt cake drizzled with homemade salted caramel sauce and dusted with cookie crumbles. The Sarlaac is made of madeleines and buttercream for its chompy teeth, about which Kathleen says,
“This thing gave me the heebie jeebies the first time I saw Return of the Jedi, so this is my little tribute to him. I know the Sarlacc traditionally does not have teeth on his beak, but I just couldn’t resist. Sorry Star Wars fanatics! Teeth made of frosting is my new favorite thing.”
