• A footballer, Ched Evans, was convicted of rape, and spent time in prison
• His old football club, Sheffield United, are considering re-signing him
• Olympic gold medallist Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill came out and publicly said that if Evans was re-signed, she wanted her name removed from the club’s stands
• She was instantly threatened with rape over Twitter
• Other feminist campaigners recieved similar abuse
