The whole process of fancasting really does quite fascinate me…

It’s like a sort of unspoken contract between graphic-maker and viewer, that the maker’s saying ‘yes okay I know this is a screencap of Amy Pond in Doctor Who, but for the purposes of this post this is actually a screencap of Lily Evans in a Harry Potter prequel.’ It’s just a nifty thing.
