Oh yes that happened
The good:
-STRAX AND JENNY AND VASTRA ARE BACK so really that was enough to make the episode for me
-Diana Rigg having a wonderful time eating the scenery (“You know what these are? THE WRONG HANDS!”)
-A plotline involving child abuse handled well…Ada doesn’t forgive her mother and that’s okay. And when we last see her she seems on her way to a much happier life. (Compare with The Idiot’s Lantern…which, curiously enough, was also written by Mark Gatiss.)
-Jenny kicking some arse
-Clara returning home, and running into her charges. Who are two very cute kids really so I hope they get some character development next episode. (I think some people have noticed, haven’t both they and Clara lost a mother at a young age?)
-Fainting Guy!
The bad:
-The Doctor snogging Jenny without her permission, even if he did get a slap for it. (It got even more annoying when I heard someone point out that Vastra and Jenny have never kissed, and they’re married!)
-…That’s actually it? It’s a pretty good episode, probably one of my top five of the season, I reckon.
