PEOPLE GOT NEKKID
The people in question getting nekkid were fake!Hermione and Harry when Ron stabs the Horcrux. It was weird, they were all naked and steaming and it felt very out of place but still sort of worked.
And then there was the BIT IN ANIMATION, which was the same thing except this TOTALLY WORKED. (It was the Three Brothers story, and, well, I think it was animation. Could have been really really brilliant stop motion or something?) Seriously, it was like that one thing made all the movies worthwhile. Not that they weren’t worthwhile of course, but yeah…
Ooh, everything else…
LUNA IS AWESOME even though she wasn’t in it much. The bit of Harry and Hermione dancing sadly together and slowly cheering up is now my personal canon, Ron is awesome and Rupert has turned into a really good actor, Snape wasn’t in it enough, Dobby’s death was sad and the beginning with Hermione wiping her parent’s memories nearly made me sob. Actually, I loved that she actually mentions her parents in this, because she didn’t in the book, she just wiped their brains and never talked about it again. That always bugged me…we never even saw her un-wipe them! Maybe we will in the movie…
Tonks got a grand total of one line, sigh.
This also functions as a wonderful advert for Britain, the camera was always panning slowly over pretty fields and places…
Yeah, I felt a little sad after the movie, because I remember when Philosopher’s Stone came out and the kids were all little, and now they’re adults. JKR said once she always thought the Harry Potter books grew up along with the kids reading them, and they totally did…
