Sergey Prokudin-Gorsky’s old photographs of Central Asia
All of these pictures were taken more than a hundred years ago. The colour is original, Prokudin-Gorsky was one of the pioneers of early colour photography. The last one, of the Emir of Bukhara, is one of my absolute faves.
