A photo Dominic Cummings should have seen
That’s the funeral of Ismail Mohamed Abdulwahab, one of the youngest people in the UK to die of coronavirus. Honest to god that photo is horrifying. It’s like something out of an apocalypse movie. None of the boy’s family could attend his funeral because they all had covid-19 symptoms as well. They couldn’t be with him when he died, even. He was buried by men in hazmat suits.
Meanwhile, Dominic Cummings can go on a road trip, with symptoms, with his child in the car. He can visit castles! He can drive 30 miles to ‘test his eyesight’ (?!?) And he can completely get away with it. He’s a good father, his cronies say, who ‘acted on instinct.’ As if there aren’t millions of other parents, including the Abdulwahabs, who had to do things which went against their every instinct but they did anyway, in the hope no-one else would die a preventable death.
Fuck this government.
